Vacation Bible School - Reynolda

Last week Reynolda had their Vacation Bible School. I think I saw everyone from the class there at some point. I hope that your kids enjoyed it as much as Rachel.

As promised, Pastor Chris Lawson posted the closing video from the week. I think it was hard to find on the Reynolda site, so I have re-posted here for everyone to see again. Or, for the first time, if you are like Allison and could not make it.

Reynolda POPs Easter Egg Hunt

Getting a head start on all the Winston Salem Easter events, we had our Reynolda POPs Easter Egg Hunt yesterday at the church. It was perfect weather and having it on the playground was a perfect place to be and let the kids play. Many thanks to Elisabeth who did a lot of the leg work for this. Many of us took pictures, but here are some highlights of ones that I took. It was a great time.

We will meet at the church and will host the festivities outside. Bring 12 plastic eggs filled with a small prize in each. Please contact Elisabeth Joyner for more details. There has been much discussion on the items above, and there may have still been some confusion. Christmas Party Recap

Our thanks go out to the Saul's for opening up your home for everyone and allowing a bunch of kids to decorate cookies. There was much laughter and eating, and the cookies were very appreciative. There was a party at Winston Salem Street School today with the cookies our kids made. The students were impressed when they realized that kids had made them.

Here is a collections of a few pictures taken during the festivities.

Chili Gala A Success

Chili Baby source unknown
The Chili Gala was a glowing success. Thank you to Mike and Lisa for having everyone over to their home. There was plenty of food to be had and lots of room for the kids to play.

We even had some inter-family friendships budding. I wanted to say romances, but since one of the girls is my daughter, I have to say she is much too young.

Chili Gala Postponed Due to Rain

We are anouncing a rain delay for the Chili Gala. With a cold steady downfall throughout today and called for most of tomorrow, we thought that we would not want to be outside. And, we might all feel a bit cramped inside. We had 5 couples planning on coming, which was great, but 10 adults plus children is quite a lot pushed indoors.

We are currently planning on moving this to next Saturday with everything else the same. Make the changes in your calendars!
